About the Acre
The Acre is a rustic, one-acre urban sanctuary and gathering space located in Orlando, Florida’s historic College Park neighborhood. This unsuspecting venue location is a hidden gem complete with rustic charm and wild landscape perfect for any celebration. The Acre is within reach of Disneyworld and Universal Studios, the beaches of Daytona and Cocoa, Florida’s Space Coast, and natural wonders like Central Florida’s crystalline springs and verdant national parks. Services and Venue Rental Additions
The Acre is equipped with a full kitchen, sound and audio equipment, lights, and as access to catering, table/chair rentals and more. All event and wedding services are available in packages with additional items that may be added to your venue rental upon planning. Add ons: market lighting (starts at $695), extra time (hourly rate), vintage get-away 1971 Rolls Royce ($250), cocktail tables ($25 each with linens) and sound service ($300)
Sound & Music
What’s a celebration without music? We’ll help make your wedding truly special by connecting you with talented Orlando professionals. From wedding coordinators to event DJs and musicians, we can help you get ready for your big day. The Acre has an experienced sound team available, and all of the equipment you’ll need for DJs and full bands. Plug-and-play music capability is already included in all of our packages (if you prefer to DJ from an iPhone), with flat rates available for additional services like hiring our sound techs or renting equipment. The Acre can connect you to musicians, magicians and dancers … even acrobats.
The Acre encourages you to make your wedding as locally-grown as possible. Our preferred caterers work with local farmers, bakers and brewers. You can view our favorite local vendors here. We are happy to help connect you directly to vendors, rather than offering these services ourselves at a marked-up price. At The Acre, there are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
We can provide you with an on-staff wedding officiant ($250), or help connect you to local religious and non-religious officiants. Our staff notary can witness documents, as well ($25).
Although The Acre has chairs, tables and linens (for up to 200), your event will likely require a tent, porta-johns (for parties with 200 or more guests) and lighting. We keep a list of preferred vendors with past event experience at The Acre. Need tables, chairs or linens? We’ll give you a quote specific to your event size and guest count.
To reserve your dates, we will need:
- A deposit of $1000 or 50% of your package total is due at the contract-signing
- A fully-refundable property damage deposit of $500 (returned after the event)
Deposits are non-refundable unless we’re notified in writing of your cancellation within 30 days from the contract-signing. Cancellations within this time frame are refundable, minus a $500 cancellation fee. Deposits are forfeited completely if a cancellation occurs after 30 days from the contract-signing. Deposits are not transferable to other dates or events. The balance of your package total (the remaining 50% of the price) is due one month before the event. The fully-refundable $500 property damage deposit is also due one month before the event. Your property damage deposit is returned seven business days after the event.
